The fourth and final day of Goal Academy in Puglia ended in style, capping off an intense week of football training and growth. The atmosphere was electric from the morning, with the young talents ready to demonstrate what they had learned during this training course.
The day began with a warm-up session under the expert guidance of coaches Dennis Van Der IJssel and Mirko Moramarco. This initial moment was crucial in preparing the boys for the challenges that lay ahead, ensuring they were physically ready and mentally focused.
After the warm-up, the children were divided into eight teams, organized by age groups. The teams faced each other in a friendly mini tournament, a perfect opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the week. The matches were characterized by a high level of competition, but also by a spirit of sportsmanship and collaboration. Each player showed commitment and passion, highlighting the progress made thanks to the teachings received.
Coaches Dennis Van Der IJssel and Mirko Moramarco, together with FIFA agent Ingrid de Croon, followed the matches closely, offering advice and encouragement. Ingrid de Croon, in particular, complimented all the participants for the excellent results achieved, underlining the importance of teamwork and dedication.
At the end of the competitions, the long-awaited moment of the awards ceremony has arrived. All the students were given certificates of participation, a recognition of their commitment and growth during the intensive course. Furthermore, thanks to the sponsors, the participants received official gadgets and, as the icing on the cake, the official Ajax shirt, symbol of an unforgettable week.
The day ended with final greetings between technicians, children and families. An emotional moment, made up of hugs and thanks, which sealed an educational experience of great value. The smiles on the faces of the children and the pride of the parents were testimony to the success of this edition of the Goal Academy.
