Third day of Goal Academy in Puglia: attack module and finishing

The third day of the Goal Academy intensive course in Puglia took place at Campo Comunale Palmiotta, adding another step for participants to improve their football skills under the expert guidance of Dennis Van Der IJssel and Mirko Moramarco. The day was full of activities, games and training, mainly focused on attack and finishing.

The day began with morning training, dedicated to the first group made up of the youngest participants and continued in the afternoon with the second group made up of the boys. The protagonists worked intensely on specific exercises aimed at improving their attacking techniques and finishing ability. The exercises were designed to be both challenging and fun, including a variety of games that made the workout challenging and engaging.

Dennis Van Der IJssel and Mirko Moramarco closely observed the participants' progress, providing personalized feedback and encouraging each young player to give their best. The attention to detail and passion for football demonstrated by the two coaches contributed to creating a positive and productive environment.

At the end of the training sessions, both coaches expressed their satisfaction with the technical level demonstrated by the participants. Dennis Van Der IJssel praised the children of the first group for their energy and desire to learn, while Mirko Moramarco underlined the commitment and determination of the children of the second group. "The technical level is really high," commented Van Der IJssel, "I am impressed by the quality of play that these young players are demonstrating."

The day ended with an evening clinic dedicated to the coaches present. During this session, Dennis Van Der IJssel presented the Ajax Game Planner, offering an in-depth overview of the strategies and tactics used by one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. The presentation generated great interest and enthusiasm, with many coaches taking the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the practical applications of Ajax methodologies in their local contexts. The participation and enthusiasm shown by the coaches and technicians present were a clear sign of the success of the clinic. “It was an honor to share my experience with such passionate colleagues,” said Van Der IJssel, “I am convinced that this knowledge will help improve youth football in the region.”

The third day of the Goal Academy in Puglia once again demonstrated the importance of initiatives like these for the development of youth football talent. With intensive training and educational sessions for coaches, the event provided invaluable value to all participants. The success of this day bodes well for the next sessions of the course, with the hope that more and more young footballers will be able to benefit from these training opportunities.
